The Department of Music at Boise State University is proud to offer an Orff Schulwerk Level II workshop in summer 2012, July 30 through August 10. Join dynamic instructors Sue Mueller, Andy Goodman, and Lori Conlon Khan as the class builds upon level I skills by exploring mixed and uneven meters, harmonization to include the moving bordun and chord change accompaniments, movement and instrumental improvisation, and extended forms.

Classes will run 8:30-4:00 Monday through Friday at the Boise State main campus, situated next to the beautiful “green belt” along the Boise river, just a few minutes walk from downtown. Out-of-area participants are welcomed, and affordable short-term housing options are available. Please consider joining us for two weeks of excellent professional development in an outstanding location.
The Level II course is offered for three units of university graduate credit. Boise State University is an accredited institution, and graduate credits may be transferable to other graduate institutions or used to meet state recertification requirements. Students may enroll as part of a degree program or as non-degree seeking students.
