  • 4.20.2015 – Student composer Jared Knight was selected for the highSCORE Festival in Pavia, Italy where he will study with Amy Beth Kirsten, Christopher Theofanidis, Dmitri Tymoczko,  Mario Garuti, and Marina Giovannini. He will also write a clarinet quartet for the 15.19 Ensemble, which will be premiered in the Chiesa di San Luca

  • 10.7.2014 – Current students Jared Knight, Luke Koenig, Chris Vargas, and Leonardo Escobar attended a Disney/Pixar film scoring session at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California and worked with renowned film composer and orchestrator Jonathan Sacks, made possible by Boise State Student Assembly individual research/creative work grants. This experience gave them a unique window into the process of scoring a film with live musicians and helped them make connections in the film industry. Full article in the Boise State Arbiter.

Burbank Trip
