Graduate String Quartet

The Department of Music at Boise State University and the Boise Philharmonic have selected its Graduate String Quartet Scholarship Program for 2016-2018!

Graduate Quartet Scholarship duties:

  • Perform a minimum of 50 services/maximum of 63 services with the Boise Philharmonic per season
  • Perform a string quartet recital each semester (enroll and perform in the Boise State University Chamber Music Program each semester)
  • Enroll and perform in the Boise State University Symphony Orchestra each semester
  • Perform for events on and off campus to promote Boise State University and the Boise Philharmonic (ie. donor/scholar dinners, fundraising events, cultivation and stewardship events, etc.)
  • Perform educational programs in local elementary schools, as scheduling and workload permits
  • Other activities consistent with individual graduate studies, as assigned.
